Gujarat Government started Saraswati Sadhana Yojana 2022 (Free Cycle Scheme), 9th standard girls of SC class will get free bicycle in Saraswati Sadhana Yojana.
Gujarat Government has decided to implement Saraswati Sadhana Yojana 2022 for girls.  Under this scheme, all girls belonging to Scheduled Caste category and studying in Std. 9 will get free bicycles under Saraswati Sadhana Yojana.  The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment is the nodal department.  To successfully implement this free cycle scheme for Scheduled Caste girls in Gujarat

The objective of Saraswati Sadhana Yojana (SSY) in Gujarat is to promote enrollment of girls in the age group of 14 to 18 years at the secondary and senior secondary level.  The scheme will reduce the drop out rate of girls from the deprived sections of the society.

  • Free bicycles are provided to students studying in standard 9.

  • 1,20000 / - for rural areas.
  • For urban areas Rs.  1,50000 / -.

Saraswati Sadhana Yojana 2022 Beneficiaries

Only girls studying in 9th standard are eligible.  From all sources, the annual income of SC girl's parents is Rs.  Should not be more than  1,20,000 for rural areas and Rs.  1,50,000 for urban areas to be eligible for Saraswati Sadhana Yojana in Gujarat.  It is important to note that only girls who meet both of these conditions will receive a free bicycle.
The purpose of Gujarat Saraswati Sadhana Yojana is to improve the total enrollment ratio for standard IX.  This scheme will promote Kanya Kelvani as this Saraswati Sadhana Yojana will solve the problem of lack of admission, low participation and poor quality facilities.  The condition of girls education and thus the overall quality of girls education will improve.
